Customer service is horrible

I have been a loyal customer of Sierra Trading Post since 2006, spending thousands of dollars on their products. I rarely have to return items because I know my sizes well, and most of the time, the fit is perfect for me.

However, my recent purchase of hiking pants and shoes was a complete disaster. Despite my weight remaining the same, neither the shoes nor the pants fit me at all. I requested a return, sent the items back with the provided label, only to discover that I never received a refund. The lack of concern for my loyalty and the years I have spent with them is appalling.

I asked for credit to use on future purchases, but they refused to provide one. The customer service was unhelpful, with no option to escalate my complaint to a higher-ranking representative.

The whole experience was cold and rude. I will be taking my business elsewhere, and I strongly advise others to do the same.

They accused me of stealing an item I was attempting to return.

Sierra Trading Post at Easton in Columbus, Ohio has the worst management I have ever seen in person, in a retail store. As a person who worked MANY years in retail and food service I can quite assuredly say this is NOT how you handle a customers return.

I will NEVER EVER spend another dime in this store or any others affiliated with it.

I spent $300 two days ago and went today to return 3 Items that totaled $57.a pair of shorts, pair of pants and a dress, due to sizing. I had my receipt, they took the shorts and dress and scanned them - no issuesthen the cashier couldnt find the pants, so he called another associate for the pants, she couldnt find them either, so they called the manager.and he could not find them on the receipt. He asked if I had another receipt and I said no, I purchased them all at the same time. I suggested maybe they rung up another item twice?

He scoffed.

I was on my lunch break so I said its ok, just give me the pants and receipt and Ill deal with it later, Im on lunch. The manager then refused to give me the pants back and stated LOUDLY in front of the cashiers, a vendor, and the other customers, YOU DIDNT PAY FOR THE PANTS, SO YOU CANT HAVE THEM. Insinuating that I STOLE the $16 pair of pants and then tried to return them after spending $300!

Everyone within earshot was staring at me like I was DJT and just grabbed someone by the lady parts!!

I was so humiliated I just got my return receipt and left in tears.

When I got back to the office I was STILL so upset that my co-worker called and made a corporate complaint.

Irate customer

I ordered some items off the internet to be picked up in store. I live over 20 miles away.

I made it to the store by 9:15 and the doors were locked and closed for the night. 15 minutes early. Needless to say I never got my order and had to make the 30 minute trip home just to have to make the trip again when I can find the time. I wasted over an hour of my time and now have to spend over another hour again to hopefully not be turned away due to your store manager deciding to close down more than 15 minutes early.

How is this acceptable that he can decide to close the entire store down early and inconvenience paying customers because he is too anxious to stick out his entire shift for his own selfish reasons. This is *** and I want to be compensated somehow for this. I am a frequent customer but am never shopping at your store again because of this. I hope it was worth it to you.

I am also leaving every bad review I can possible and telling my Facebook friend list of over 10,000 friends of your horrible service practices and let them know to never purchase or shop at any one of your stores or sister stores as well.

It won't be a huge loss for you but it will definitely taint your companies name and result in profit loss and cause word of mouth negativity which is the best form of advertisement. Get ready for the slew of bad reviews.

Was given a gift card for a return

Returned merchandise in store and was treated badly by the sales associate. She told me that I could only have store credit in the form of a gift card.

Once I contacted customer service I was told.my refund would appear on my original form of payment. This has not happened and my emails go unanswered.

Missing package

Ive been tracking my package with fed ex since 10/15 it said it was delivered today at 2:01 it was not delivered to me it is NOT HERE my name is Frank Bern my address is 1526 Republic st Cincinnati Ohio 45202 my order number is 3670**** my customer number is 1762**** I called FedEx and they told me to call the shipper I chat with the shipper and you informed me that fedex has until 10/30 to deliver package but they apparently lost or gave my package to some *** *** *** idk please contact me immediately 513 578-**** or email me fbern48@***.com Ive been waiting on my package for a long time now for this bull *** to happen

customer service is horrible, if you order online, don't expect your merchandise any time soon, it takes them over a week to actually ship your order plus the actual transit time of your merchandise, and you may not even get all of the items you ordered. i placed 3 separate orders within 2 months period and all 3 orders took over one week to process and ship.

2 of the orders shipped out incomplete...

just horrible customer service, supervisors not available and don't return your phone calls.

i'm a long time customer but for the past year the service, order delivery and completeness as well as quality of the merchandise have bee very bad!!! will not be buying from them again and DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!
